Today I felt very down due to illness I have been struggling with for few months..so I didn’t want to listen to Christian music. I put on Emile Sande instead..and felt Jesus spoke to me through Sande, just as much as he would speak to me through Matt Redman. I heard part of the song (below) and it hit me.

Then I replayed the song. Jesus doesn’t say that he is a river & I am not saying the whole song is biblical, but he did say Follow Me & other lyrics were very much for me right now.

Made me wonder if he purposefully wanted me to hear that song..if Sande had God in mind when she wrote it..or if I just hear Jesus in it. Like when you are in love with someone you think of them constantly. My friends used to know when I liked a lad because I would drop him into conversation all the time. There are so many times in my day that I hear/see/feel something that just deep in my chest makes me feel it is God speaking to me. I know he wants to be a part of my day, he will try to speak to me even on the days I don’t feel like listening.

So if you hear something..choose to trust that it is God speaking to you..He definitely will be trying to get your attention..
